riches is a model by the famous Renaissance sculptor Giambologna

This statuette inspired Giambologna's famous final sculpture now
found in Piazza della Signoria, in the Loggia
dei Lanzi, the 14th century showcase platform for sculptures.

The hotel's interior has been meticulously
designed to complement its splendid history and immerse guests in
luxury and well-being. Classically decorated, with fine fabrics
and antique Italian furniture, the rooms reflect the noble atmosphere
of renaissance Florence. Various unique sculptures and drawings
are on exposition - many of which are by neo-classical sculptor
Giovanni Duprč (Sienna 1887-1882) from whom the
hotel's present day owner is descended. Floors are paved in "cotto
fiorentino", artisan craftsmanship preserved from the 1500s.
