The
Monna Lisa was one of our favourite hotels during our travels through
Italy. It is full of renaissance charm with its lovely sitting rooms,
art and garden courtyard - a very praiseworthy establishment. Our
room was not particularly large however it was tastefully decorated
and very accommodating. The price was satisfying as we could not
have asked for better hospitality or lodging. Any queries were immediately
answered and the staff were second to none.

We stayed for five days at the Hotel
Monna Lisa. Fantastic staff. Great location and a truly captivating
villa. Good breakfasts. Room sizes vary so check it out first. The
authentic and varied artwork is not to be missed.

We stayed at this hotel for three
days in December, 2006. After getting lost in the crazy one way
traffic system we were relieved to finally arrive at the Hotel and
be greeted by friendly faces. The open garden area was really nice,
even considering it was autumn. The Hotel reception staff were particularly
accommodating and accompanied us to our room. I was impressed by
the atmosphere of the place, with all the art and sculptures; we
knew we had arrived in a city which boasted a great collection of
art. The hotel felt really authentic. Breakfast was excellent the
next morning, a buffet style breakfast with toast, pastries, fruit,
ham, cheese, yoghurt, cereal, juices, boiled eggs, and of course
espressos and cappuccinos! Delicious! We’ll be back in 2007
to appreciate the warmer weather…
